CHALLENGE Create a new material combining wood and efficient performance

It took a lot of careful research to create an innovative material made from wood, aluminium and carbon (or wood and carbon depending on the model).

FLEXIBLE FRAMES DESPITE THE USE OF WOOD
Our solution: replace solid wood with an aluminium structure which is then combined with a wood/carbon material (made from successive thin layers).
Mounting of the lenses and adjustment of the frame are therefore easier thanks to the flexibility of the front and the presence of a rimlock.
RELIABILITY OF THE FRAME
Combine materials, make the wood watertight, opt for crimping of the hinge/front rather than a screw, as aluminium is too soft for the latter. A choice tested and validated in the context of temple angle adjustments.
